The National Biochar Awards will celebrate and recognise the achievements, innovation, entrepreneurship and best practice in the ANZ Biochar Industry. Creating a sense of community amongst those in the industry, the awards will serve as a goal newcomers and established members can strive for. We aim to foster an environment that will celebrate award recipients and see collaboration between those in the greater Biochar community.
As an industry cluster, one of our key performance indicators is engaging our members. We see our awards ceremony as the perfect way to do this, as we recognise individuals and companies who are meeting the aims of ANZBIG and the wider Biochar community. Additionally, it is in line with our objective to ‘bring together Biochar companies and institutions working in the industry’. We will establish a network of award nominees and winners that will benefit development of the industry.
The categories you can nominate for are as follows:

- Biochar Producer
- Biochar Exporter
- Biochar Research
- Biochar Student Prize
- Biochar Volunteer
- Hall of Fame
Above you will find the links to click through to the nomination forms where you can complete an application form. After our judges have viewed all applications, you will be notified if you are a finalist. All finalists will be invited to the awards ceremony.
